I am an Associate Geomorphologist based out of our Bellingham office. I provide river process expertise skewed toward geologic time- and spatial-scales in support of NHC’s river engineering, habitat restoration, and flood hazard work across the west coast of North America and internationally in Bangladesh and Brazil. I love integrating my landscape-scale perspective with my colleagues’ detailed engineering approaches to solve complex river management problems. Both my professional work and passion for gardening stem from my deep sense of calling to be a responsible steward of the natural world. Outside of work, I love human-powered exploration of complex landscapes and vibrant ecosystems.
