Hydroelectric Operations and Reservoir Sedimentation, Hydrology, Climate Change, and Water Management, Water Quality and Stormwater Management
My passion is understanding the hydrology of watersheds in diverse environments and applying that knowledge to help sustain and manage water resources to support multiple uses. My experience includes watershed assessment and modelling, reservoir operations, and analysis of hydrologic and geomorphic effects of stormwater on streams. I manage and support NHC projects throughout western North America. In addition to my technical work, I also serve as the Washington Branch Manager, based out of the Seattle office. I recently directed a stream-focused watershed assessment and stormwater management plan targeting specific actions and projects to restore functional ecological conditions for a Puget Sound lowland stream. I enjoy outdoor activities, sports, and travelling with my family, and have a special place in my heart for my family cabin at Lake Tahoe.
