As a technical specialist with over 17 years of experience, Nicolas has worked on a wide range of large-scale coastal and marine engineering projects including hydrotechnical studies, design and construction of coastal and marine structures, as well as the development and implementation of climate change adaptation strategies. Over the years, he has developed his expertise in port terminals, fishing harbors, marinas and coastal erosion protection works (breakwater, jetty, beach nourishment, soft engineering techniques), including the environmental and social impacts of these structures. Nicolas also has experience on such civil engineering projects as hydro and dams, fish habitat restoration, water intakes and bridges, and riverbank protection.
