I currently serve on NHC’s Board of Directors and am a Principal in the North Vancouver office. My 30+ years of experience includes assessing flood hazards and risks, floodplain mapping, and a variety of river engineering related projects. I have contracted with the Engineers and Geoscientists of BC to give professional development seminars on flood management and review technical guidelines. Recently, I have been project manager and technical lead for hydraulic modelling of the Fraser River, BC to develop a flood management strategy for the Lower Mainland. Working at NHC gives me the opportunity to work with like-minded people, both clients and staff, improving flood safety and preparedness along a wide range of rivers. When off work, you will find me outdoors, cross-country skiing, kayaking, hiking, or travelling in some far-away northern country.
