Bridge and Transportation Hydraulics, Infrastructure and Pipeline Protection, River Engineering, Floodplain and Sediment Management
I’m a Principal and the Branch Manager for NHC’s British Columbia offices. My project work is mostly focused on scour and erosion protection for bridge and pipeline crossings. I’m also involved in projects related to sediment management, flood hazard mitigation, channel design/rehabilitation, aquatic habitat enhancement, aquatic effects environmental assessments, and dam decommissioning. I have worked throughout British Columbia and in the Yukon Territory, Washington State, India, and Brazil. Recently, I evaluated the hydraulic and morphological effects of replacing the Pattullo Bridge over the Fraser River in the Vancouver metropolitan area. At NHC, I enjoy working collaboratively with highly motivated, skilled, and creative people. Away from work, I enjoy skiing deep powder, surfing small waves, mountain biking, practicing jiu jitsu, and doing fun stuff with my kids.
