Kate joined NHC in 2022 to pursue her passion for Coastal and River Engineering. She enjoys being involved in a wide range of project scopes, including metocean assessments, numerical modelling of both coastal and river systems, wave run up and flood construction level analysis, engineering design work, and construction support. Her recent project experience includes developing a Telemac3D model encompassing the Fraser River around Peters First Nation to inform the design of a series of spurs; and performing a flood construction level assessment for the Surge Narrows Marine Revitalization Project, where a historic building, standing pier, and floating dock are being reconstructed.
