Aquatic Habitat Design and Restoration, River Engineering, Floodplain and Sediment Management
Jeremy is a hydraulic engineer with a strong background in river engineering and habitat design, open channel and culvert hydraulics, and hydraulic and sediment transport modelling. He specializes in developing process based design solutions that integrate geomorphic analyses, 1- and 2-dimensional numerical models, and river engineering principles for projects in a variety of different hydro-physiographic settings. His educational background and experience in both conservation biology and civil engineering promotes a multi-disciplinary approach to project analysis and design. Jeremy has extensive experience supporting construction phase services, including developing contract documents, providing bid support, and performing construction oversight. He has recently designed and constructed a Bull trout cold-water habitat restoration project for the Kalispel Tribe. Additional design and construction experience includes habitat restoration and enhancement, floodplain restoration, and levee protection projects in Whatcom, Pend Oreille, and Lewis Counties in Washington State.
