My work experience includes projects located throughout the United States and Taiwan. Primary areas of focus include hydrologic, hydraulic, and sediment transport modelling; reconstruction and forecasting of channel response to natural and artificial inputs; and hydraulic design for flood control and watershed restoration projects. A recent project involved alternative development and evaluation, and hydraulic design of a flood control solution for a problem reach along the Coachella Valley Stormwater Channel near Palm Springs, California. I enjoy the wide variety of projects at NHC. My non-work interests include history, geography, and languages.
