I am the President of NHC Inc. (NHC’s US operations) and serve as Vice President and co-chair of the Board of Directors for NHC Ltd. My background is in river engineering, specifically bank and channel stabilization, habitat restoration, sediment management, and bridge and culvert hydraulics. My passion for rivers started early, while growing up on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula, where I spent every moment I could fishing, swimming, rafting, and exploring streams. My work with NHC has been mainly in the Pacific Northwest but has extended as far north as Alaska’s North Slope and south to the Gulf of Mexico. Recently, I led design, analysis, and construction supervision of a multi-year fish passage and restoration project on Dickerson and Chico Creeks in Washington. I enjoy working with the tremendous group of people at NHC who strive to make our world a better place through collaboration and cutting-edge science. Off work, I enjoy outdoor activities including fly fishing, hunting, and cheering on my kids during soccer games and crew regattas.
