I am a Principal Hydrotechnical Engineer in our Nanaimo office supporting hydrotechnical, sedimentation, and flood mitigation projects in NHC’s BC branch. I have worked on projects in western Canada, the US, and in Bangladesh, the Philippines, China, Egypt, Guyana, Peru, and Trinidad. I enjoy working with multi-disciplinary teams to assess the physical effects of engineering projects on the environment and on developing mitigation/restoration solutions. A recent project for the Cowichan Tribes involved assessment of hydraulic and sedimentation processes and habitat restoration alternatives for the Cowichan Estuary Restoration Project. At NHC, I’ve enjoyed collaborating with people who are passionate about their work. My hobbies are photographing rivers, hiking, and music.
