As a Principal working in our Sacramento office, I focus mainly on projects in Northern California. I have a strong technical background in hydraulics and sediment transport and relish applying this expertise to develop effective, efficient, and practical solutions to a range of issues. I enjoy working closely with diverse stakeholder groups on fish passage, bank protection, and habitat restoration designs. One recent project involved assessment of potential bank erosion due to revised upstream reservoir operations, conceptual design development, and stakeholder coordination. Working at NHC gives me the opportunity to work on interesting projects with knowledgeable people both within and outside the company. When not at work, I enjoy outdoor activities such as skiing, mountain biking, backpacking, and chasing my toddler around the yard.
