I am an NHC lifer, working my way from Junior Engineer up to Principal. My interest in engineering came from observing rivers and how they interact with people and the larger ecosystem. I prefer working on a variety of different types of projects and have recently been focused on spillways, numerical modelling, stormwater, and floodplain management. A recent major project was CFD modelling of the Oroville Dam spillways in support of DWR’s emergency repair efforts. I enjoy spending my free time outdoors, travelling, and with my family.
