Ali brings extensive experience in hydraulics and water resources, spanning teaching, research, and consulting. His expertise covers river hydraulics, design of hydraulic structures, and physical and numerical modeling of water intakes, pumping facilities, pipelines, dams, reservoirs, spillways, and energy dissipators.

He has contributed to projects across North and South America and the Middle East, applying his technical skills to deliver practical solutions. In addition to his consulting work, Ali has co-authored numerous journal and conference papers, with a focus on flow hydraulics.
