Alexandra is a Coastal Engineer with international project experience. Ms. Forsythe holds a MASc First Class Honours in Coastal Engineering from the University of Ottawa. She has diverse experience in both coastal engineering and project management. In her work at Baird, Ms. Forsythe’s experience includes coastal structural design, field work, data analysis, project management, and numerical modelling for various disciplines within coastal engineering, including river and coastal processes, shoreline restoration, and coastal risk assessment. Ms. Forsythe’s expertise is in providing climate resilience to Indigenous communities all over Canada, with a particular focus in Arctic Canada, and the application of nature-based solutions.
