We’re looking for a Marketing and Proposal Specialist to join our collaborative corporate marketing team in British Columbia. This is a dynamic, hands-on role supporting proposal development, marketing initiatives, and strategic communication across our offices in North America.

What You’ll Do

As a key member of our team, you’ll help lead the end-to-end development of winning proposals and contribute to internal and external marketing efforts. Your work will support NHC’s visibility, business development, and brand growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring bid opportunities and managing proposal planning and coordination (RFPs, RFQs, SOQs, SF330s)
  • Executing NHC’s proposal process and ensuring timely, compliant submissions
  • Designing and producing high-quality proposal materials using Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office
  • Maintaining and updating CRM opportunity records, resumes, and project descriptions
  • Collaborating on interview presentations and debriefs to support continuous improvement
  • Creating marketing collateral, brochures, award submissions, and internal/external videos
  • Contributing to NHC’s digital presence, including website and intranet content
  • Supporting social media planning and content development
  • Coordinating business development events and conference materials

What You’ll Bring

  • Diploma or degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–5 years of relevant proposal and marketing experience, preferably in engineering, environmental, architecture, or construction industries
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively, manage time effectively, and follow structured processes across multiple stakeholders and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Salary: 

$60,000 – $80,000 per year (starting salary is dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience).
