About Us
Northwest Hydraulic Consultants (NHC) is an international firm of consulting civil engineers, geoscientists, and technologists that provides professional services for the development, management and protection of water resources. We are currently seeking a full-time engineering technologist with strong skills in drafting and 3D modelling within our British Columbia offices (Kamloops, Nanaimo, or North Vancouver).
About the Role
The position requires proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D rendering digital terrain models, geometries, corridors, and developing engineering production drawing sets.
Qualified candidates will have experience working with computer-aided drafting software packages such as AutoCAD®, Civil3D® and Recap® to participate in our CAD prepared projects. Familiarity with Solidworks®, SpaceClaim®, Pix4D®, Unreal Engine®, Global Mapper® and Cloud Compare is considered advantageous.

- Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to work independently and be able to prioritize multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines.

- Able to use their skills to improve the quality and efficiency of our products.

Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 per year (starting salary will depend on knowledge, skills, and experience).
