We've Got Your Watershed Covered
Northwest Hydraulic Consultants (NHC) offers a highly skilled team of professionals providing technical expertise in a wide range of water resource disciplines. Together with our clients, we develop innovative and effective solutions for issues related to water and earth processes in freshwater and coastal environments.
We’re different: NHC is an independent, employee-owned company providing innovative and specialized hydrotechnical engineering and geoscience consulting services. We are passionate about water and dedicated to technical excellence, our clients, and the communities we serve.
Established in 1972, NHC was founded by individuals with a strong technical background and unique focus. As we grow and evolve, we remain true to a culture that has shaped our consulting practice over the past 50 years. NHC has more than 250 employees based in 16 offices in Canada, the US, Asia, and South America. Our physical hydraulic modelling operation is the largest in western North America. Both a local and international company, NHC has completed thousands of projects across North America, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa.
